Best Academy is proud to offer students in Fairfax County, the surrounding area, and abroad, summer school courses for the summer of 2021!
Best Academy is fully accredited through the Cognia (formerly AdvancED, Southern Association of Colleges and Schools Council on Accreditation and School Improvement), and a member of Virginia Council of Private Education (VCPE).
Best Academy's summer credit courses are designed to meet the needs of students who are currently enrolled in the same grade as the summer course offered and also for students in Grades 8-12 who wish to take a course in advance of their present grade.

Dear Best Academy Parents:

In order to ensure the safety of everyone at Best Academy, and in compliance with the directives issued by the state government, our office will be closed for the next two weeks, at least until March 29, 2020. All of our staff members will work out of their homes and we will continue to provide all services and support to our parents as usual, but via telephone and online means.

Parents should be able to contact us during our regular office hours (Monday-Friday 10:30 AM to 7:30 PM, and Saturday 9:00 AM to 3:30 PM) with any questions, consulting purposes, and any other issues. Parents will also be able to register and pay for Summer Academy programs, as well as spring courses via phone or online. Dear Best Academy parents:

As you may have already heard, local public school systems, including Fairfax County, Loudoun County, and Prince William County public schools, as well as many private schools in the area, are preparing to go online, either in an event where schools are forced to shut down or as an extra precautionary measure. In order to ensure our students and staff members’ health and safety, Best Academy is also preparing to deliver all lessons and coursework virtually to our students should it become necessary. We have already been testing the frameworks and technology we have in place to aid this delivery, and we are confident that our virtual learning format will continue to provide the same high-quality education we have been offering in in-person classroom settings for the past twenty-six years. In the meantime, we continue to follow the guidelines of the Centers for Disease Control and the local health authorities, as well as maintaining our protocols that were mentioned in my previous letter. Thank you for your continued support of our efforts to respond to the unprecedented challenges all of us are facing.

All schools in Virginia will close for two weeks beginning Saturday, March 14, due to minimize exposure to the spread of the COVID-19. Best Academy is preparing to deliver all lessons and coursework virtually starting March 16.

Dear Best Academy Parents:

The safety and security of Best Academy students and staff members are of the utmost importance to us. During this unfortunate situation with the spread of Corona Virus around the world, we are following the guidance of the Center for Disease Control (CDC), as well as local and state public health authorities, in order to ensure the safety of all of our students and staff members. To keep everyone healthy at Best Academy amid the growing concerns we are taking extra precautions and implementing additional measures that include:
- Increased cleaning protocols to make sure that frequently touched surfaces, such as door knobs, desks, tables, chairs, copy machines, etc., are thoroughly disinfected.
- Disinfecting all classrooms, offices, lobby, copy room, library, and computer lab with disinfecting spray on a daily basis.
- Placing hand sanitizers in the front lobby for all students and teachers to use upon their arrivals.
- Encouraging students and teachers to keep reasonable distance between each other both in and outside of classrooms.
- Advising any students, teachers, and employees to stay home if they are experiencing any cold or flu-like symptoms or become ill.
We would also appreciate your help with reminding your children to wash their hands often with soap, use hand sanitizer, cough or sneeze into their sleeves or a tissue, and not touch their faces with their hands.
We are going to continue to monitor the situation very closely and will follow the recommendations of the CDC and will keep you apprised of any developments.

Summer camp deadline is around the corner! Make sure to call or stop by the office to reserve your spot this summer. The deadline is Tuesday, June 11th.

The office will reopen at 1 PM today.

Best Academy will be closed on May 27th, 2019 for Memorial Day. The office will reopen on Tuesday, May 28th, at 10:30 AM.

April 15th - April 20th
There will be no regularly scheduled classes during FCPS spring break (regular ASE, GT classes, creative writing, Saturday SAT, etc.). Best Academy will have special spring break programs during the FCPS spring break. Please call the center to register.

Summer registration is in full swing! Register online or call our center by March 31st to receive 15% off full tuition. We offer various comprehensive programs for rising 1st through 12th grade students.

Deadline to register is April 12th
The ACT Aspire is a great tool to monitor student progress. We welcome all 5th, 6th , and 7th grade students to register and take the test on May 4th and 11th. Students will be tested in English, Reading, Writing, Science, and Math and will receive a free paper copy of their results along with detailed feedback. Register

Due to the winter storm warning in effect for our area, Best Academy will be closed Wednesday, Feb. 20, 2019. Please stay safe and warm!

February 1, 2019
The ASE program will be CLOSED, Feb. 1, 2019. Best Academy office will open at the normal scheduled time at 10:30 a.m. All evening classes will remain open.

Best Academy will be closed at 4:30pm today, January 29, 2019 due to anticipated snow and freezing rain this afternoon. We request parents to make every effort to pick up their child earlier, if possible.

Due to falling temperatures and hazardous road conditions, Best Academy will be closed on Wednesday, January 30, 2019.

Tuesday, January 29
Due to inclement weather, FCPS is closing 2 hours early on Tuesday, January 29th. Best Academy will be picking up students early and will have scheduled activities including homework time and math class. Please call the office if you plan on picking up your child from school or if you have any questions.

Best Academy will be closed on Monday, January 14, due to the snow.
