Best Academy Summer Camp 2020 will go Online

Friday, May 8, 2020

Dear Best Academy Students and Parents:

To take part in ongoing concerted efforts to flattening the curve for the COVID-19 pandemic, Best Academy is conducting its 26th Summer Enrichment Camp courses online. Although this marks our first ever online summer camp, our LIVE, REAL-TIME online class meetings have proven its efficacy and the ideal level of student engagement since we moved to our online platform in March. Best Academy is confident that its online summer program will continue to challenge and support all students to achieve their academic success for the upcoming school year.

We are also aware that many parents may have been adversely affected by the pandemic. In our effort to help and give back to parents and our community, who have supported us for so many years, we have created our own COVID-19 Scholarship for the 2020 summer program. The scholarship in the amount of $500.00 will be applied towards all students' tuition for summer programs this year. Those parents who would like to pay the tuition in installments may also do so through our flexible payment plan extended until July 15.

With the decision to move our classes online, we understand that issues, such as child care, may also arise. If the State allows us to re-open, we will partially open our campus during regular school hours, 9am until 3pm, to parents (or single parent) who may not have childcare available at home while they are at work, without any extra cost. To ensure health and safety of our students and faculties, we will only accept children enrolled in 1st through 6th grade (maximum of 4 children per each grade level) if parents elect to choose this option. Priority will be given to essential workers and service providers, and then first-come, first-served basis if space is available. Before & after care will be provided with extra fees, but no pick-up services will be provided this summer. Students who use our center to receive online classes will be required to bring lunch and a headset with microphone.

If you are wondering about how our online classes actually work, please watch the video below.

We will also be happy to answer any questions you may have. Please contact us at or call the school office at 703-978-0008.

We sincerely wish you and your families continued health and safety during this challenging time.
